In the August 2023 issue of The Journal of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery, the article FasterRib: A deep learning algorithm to automate identification and characterization of rib fractures on chest computed tomography scans by Jeff Choi et al. included a misspelling of a contributing author’s name in the article byline. The incorrect spelling “David J. Brown” has been changed to “David W. Brown” and the error has been corrected in the online version. The editorial office and author apologize for the error.
