The higher educational institutes (HEIs) serve as nation’s back-bone for intellectual and socio-economic development of the country1. These institutes can enrich a culture of learning, innovation, collaboration
and research by development of their faculty members2. Mentoring is one aspect of faculty development
that enhances professional identification, critical thinking, planning of activities, and classroom
management skills3.The faculty mentorship program in any university can therefore help to provide
personalized support for the professional growth and development of faculty to achieve career
success, job satisfaction, job retention and raise the level of the institution4.
